Well that went faster than expected, but it was still a chore. At first I was going through my old favorites gallery one submission at a time. Then a couple days ago I realized I could just drag and drop all the old ones I wanted. Things went a hell of a lot faster after that, and half an hour ago I finally finished getting everything imported to this account, including watching all the people I was watching in my old account.

At least, those I'm still interested in watching. I had virtually no standards when I first joined dA, it seems. Especially with the fractal art, I just faved everything I saw. What the hell was I thinking?

I have literally over a thousand less pieces in my new favorites section that I used to have. I am not exaggerating, 187 pages at 120 each down to 53. Phwew!

Anyway, I'm also watching a few less people now for various reasons. Some aren't updating anymore and their old stuff doesn't interest me, or they are updating but they've stagnated in style and subject matter. I'm particularly tired of fractals and anime rip-offs and art that depicts a character but doesn't show them doing anything.

I want original stuff, I want stories being told, I want unique styles.

Good thing there's still some quite talented people on dA.
